MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE BARN,
BLUE MOUNTAIN RANCH! 1993 |
| |
|
When I first entered the Barn, through the birthing pens, it seemed as though my heart and the Earth were one. My body was alive with tears of joy and deep connection.

|
My interior experience was primary as my companions faded and I embraced the sanctity of the moment. My archetypal Soul had spoken to me...a life choice had been made. The digging, the discovery, the un-earthing that followed exposed new layers of my Self through the vehicle of this rich landscape and the animals living in it.

As an artist I feel that it is my responsibility to pay attention when the unconscious gives me an image. I try to honor it and work with it, and when I hear my true Voice, I listen. |

"Blue Mountain Sentinel" appears this spring at The Black Sheep Gallery in England, a part of the National Acrylic Painters Association's annual show. |
