"Scrambling up tree, sense of my limbs and tree's limbs outstretched being the
same, yet separate. Animals below, flailing, running down road as I stared
out through the tree. I spun around to see cats, mini-bison, trying to see from
all angles simultaneously. I seemed to be in the middle of a wheel-like motion,
trying to stay elevated." |

My Jungian analyst said that I was in a transitional state, between "the natural
herd" and reflective consciousness. Trying to operate on all levels made outer
reality unusually draining. These wheel-like formations in the psyche correspond
to what Friedrich Nietzsche called a primary movement of the Soul, a self
propelling. |
